About Ashley

I believe that everyone has their own unique optimal state and is capable of having healthy relationships. My holistic approach to mental wellness combines relationship attachment with mindfulness and elements of cognitive behavioural therapy. My approach helps to increase self-awareness and create new relationship and behaviour patterns.

I see therapy as the crossroads between feeling stuck and finding new solutions to move forward in life.

Individuals in counselling can explore personal challenges with anxiety, mood, relationships, stress and confidence, and learn to process their emotions in a safe space. Couples in therapy can safely explore their relationship in a safe and supportive environment based on mutual respect, trust and collaboration. My counselling style also offers freedom to explore dreams and early memories in a way that is down-to-earth.


A balanced and purpose-filled life can be achieved through self-awareness, healthy relationships and becoming more connected to your surroundings.


My approach to counselling relies on holding space for the natural process that change may take. I see you as the expert of your life and can help to highlight and build on your strengths, guiding you on your path to change. Together we can create SMART, attainable goals to build success upon success.


As a counsellor, I rely on my personal authenticity and having an empathic, warm, and nonjudgmental approach. I respect and acknowledge that the services I provide take place on the unceded Indigenous territory of the Coast Salish peoples that was not surrendered. I am a supporter of humane societies, women’s equality and the LGBT2Q+ community.

I hold a professional license as Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (#15428). I am a certified Gottman Seven Principles Leader and have completed Level 1 of Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I am also a certified Gottman Leader for The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work Couples Workshop.
