So much of our days are spent moving from task to So much of our days are spent moving from task to task and appointment to appointment. 🏃‍♀️How often do you actually stop and pause ⏸️ to give yourself a present moment? This is the Calm Breath exercise. It’s intentionally timed to relax your body, slow down your mind, and help you feel present and at ease. You can use this as an exercise for when you feel stressed, or use it to make a relaxing moment even more refreshing.Give it a try, you’re already breathing all day anyway. 🌬️#Mindfulness #TherapyTools #GroundingTechniques
May is mental health awareness month, with the goa May is mental health awareness month, with the goal of raising awareness about mental health, reducing stigma and promoting support.Mental health isn’t something you can opt into and out of. It’s your general mood and felt sense of your well-being at any given time.Is there a stress that you’ve been ignoring lately, maybe hoping that it will go away or resolve itself if you put it out of your mind?
How do you cope with stress, disappointment or unexpected changes in plans? Can you roll with the punches or does it derail your day?
All of this relates to your mental health.Last month, I added reduced rate services for students and people who need a break financially, because mental health shouldn’t break the bank. 50 minutes of focused support can help you check in, set goals, and gain some tips and tools to get through your challenging moments. So, how are you feeling lately?🌿#MentalHealthAwareness #VancouverCounsellor #MentalHealthMatters

It’s such a gift to pause in the present moment bask in what we can sometimes take for granted. 💗🫶Today was the 4th (!!) live circle the Belonging Salon community, and my big takeaway was a feeling of utmost gratitude. What do you feel grateful for?🎥: @khuranakreative🌿#Gratitude #Belonging #MindfulMoment
Today’s the anniversary of my first ever client se Today’s the anniversary of my first ever client session. And yes, I wrote that date down! 📝So here’s a little retrospect of what the last 6 years of virtual therapy have been like for me—but I’ve been in the field since 2018.Switching to virtual was necessary in 2020. It also gave me the freedom to spend as much as possible with my first kitty through his illness management in 2024.I’m heading back into the office with limited spaces as I return to @parallelwellness, and I couldn’t be more excited for it! Book a virtual or in person session with the link in my bio.🌿#VancouverCounsellor #VirtualTherapist #MillennialTherapist
